Logo Design

This is the original logo sometimes with the color scheme alternated. The font and style needs updating along with the colors.

The Hemp Leaf will be one identity symbol that is incorporated into the flow. This plant is the source of the problem and solution.

The laws, courts, and political system are obstacles the organization faces. This is a key identity of U.S. Hemp Roundtable.

Successfully funded by U.S. Hemp Roundtable the US Hemp Authority sets the standards for hemp products. This was a coalition of many small businesses, farmers, and consumers represented by U.S. Hemp Roundtable.

The Hemp Leaf represents what the business is about. The legalization and setting of standards of hemp for CBD, Textiles, and Environmental benefits.

The Justice Scale represents the political battles U.S. Hemp Roundtable faces. They successfully funded the approval of U S Hemp Authority Act which sets the standards for quality in CBD.

After finding designs from Joe Caroff his 007 logo design and ABC News Olympics logo in 1980 made me see the ability of defining all aspects into one image. I decided to combine my trace of the hemp leaf and justice scale to create the logos foundation. Deciding on typography I wanted to use something that tied in U.S. Hemp Roundtable’s political and legal connection the the court system so I decided on American typewriter font. I will continue on adding some detail and trying combinations of color.

I am using variations of green and orange as the main colors. The orange comes from the original logo and the green represents the medical benefits of hemp. The stem of the leaf and the stand of the scale merge together to create one image.

The color scheme was chosen from the organization’s website. I was able to utilize the Adobe color wheel to match colors from photos. Keeping the orange color was important because it was the foundation of the name.
